Key Ingredients
Tomatoes contain antioxidants and are the main ingredient of this fresh juice. You can use plum tomatoes or really any variety of tomato that you like. One of the benefits of tomato juice is that you’ll get a lot of nutrition in just one glass of juice.
Carrots add a natural sweetness when juiced. I think the carrots help balance the tomato juice taste, along with the other ingredients.
Celery contains fiber and is hydrating and helps balance the flavors of this homemade tomato juice recipe.
A pinch of salt brings out the best flavors. Feel free to add some black pepper or cayenne pepper if you wish!
Hot sauce makes this a really fun drink! Definitely give it a try, or leave it out if you don’t like spicy foods.

How to Make Tomato Juice
Step One
Wash and chop your veggies so they fit in the blender or juicer.

Step Two
Add all ingredients to your chosen machine, adding water if using a blender.
Step Three
Blend until smooth or run through the juicer per directions.
Step Four
Strain through a nut milk bag, chill, and serve!
Recipe Tips
- Fresh juice is best served right after it’s made. But, it can be stored in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
- Try to use ripe tomatoes for this recipe for the most flavor.
- If you don’t want any spiciness to the flavor of your juice, leave out the hot sauce.
- This recipe is very versatile! You can adjust or adapt the types of vegetables that you blend with the tomatoes. Feel free to use additional ingredients such as flat-leaf parsley, cilantro, beets, lemon juice, and even an apple or orange juice to add additional sweetness.
